58. Jacks frustration and teething with teeth!

Image
Jack has been incredible from day 1, and still is. But its clear he is getting sick of them a lot more. The babies are taking up a lot more of our attention now that they are on the move and all over the place. I find myself telling him to "hold on a minute while I just ..... ", all the time! Jack is wanting to do much more interactive play at the moment. Hide and seek, jigsaws, building blocks etc. We also have ti break off games a lot because of a cry.  With movement, comes lots if bumps with the boys. The climb up things like the side of the sofa or a table or chair leg, my legs are popular too when they want something. With the climbs comes slips, bumps and over balance which equal lots of cries. They also endlessly squabble over toys and pinch stuff off each other constantly. They get really annoyed and start crying. They also see Jack and his toys and go for a look, pick then up, put them in their mouths and Jack gets mad, snatches them back, pushes them away etc, all r...

57. Smashing it at nursery and back to work!

Attention seeking battles. Sam and Robins attention seeking has become a little challenging recently. All of a sudden, they both want me at the same time. One cries, I pick him up and the other desperately wants me. It's bizarre. For example, all 3 are playing, Sam topples over and cries, so I pick him up and cuddle him, Robin sees and bursts into tears and tries to clamber onto into my lap too. They want me on their own though, so don't stop crying until I've put his brother down. It's very cute that they want me, but frustrating that I can't please them both. At the same time, if William cries and I pick him up, they don't bother! Will doesn't react when I comfort the other two either. Funny!  Crawling It might sound odd, but they crawl really differently. Robin crawls like a gorilla. Being bigger and stockier, he looks different, but his hands (which are huge), are slightly turned in and really slap the floor, because of this, his arms are pushed out and ...

56. Worst and bests! Christmas 2024.

These boys keep getting better and better. They are getting stronger and faster by the day, and with it comes them laughing every time they see each other, chasing after us and Jack, crawling at speed for cuddles, and to play with each other. It's just brilliant! They keep meeting and just laughing at each other. A trio of baby giggles stops everybody in their tracks and fills the house with laughter. It's overwhelming in the most magical way.  They are into everything now and baby gates have been firmly shut again. We have also rearranged the living room to set up a very large play pen.  We still use baby bouncers to feed them and keep them contained while their milk settles, but then they are free to roam. Sam and Will aren't as fast or adventurous as Rob, who is pulling himself up on all the furniture now and generally being chaotic. This is fine, until I get a poonami and need to take one to change. It's usually a surprise poonami, so my assumed quick nappy swap, su...
