36. Thank you!!

We want to say the biggest thank you to everybody. We have been inundated with gifts, cards, meals, treats, text messages, Facebook messages, even money. It's been overwhelming and we simply haven't had the time to respond to everybody. My phone sits on silent most of the time, and when I get to it, when I finally sit down, (not for a nap), there are often dozens, if not more, messages to read and phone calls to respond to. I am loving reading them all, but I often just click love to them rather than send a reply, simply because I am going to be up again in a few minutes to get something ready again. Or, go to sleep of course. It took us days to get around to opening all of the cards and presents that had arrived while we were in hospital.

First of all, who sent this? It came with no clue who it was from, direct from Etsy. We are stumped, and frankly, it's hilarious and the sender deserves a round of applause!

Absolutely stunning hand made blankets from James's mums neighbours daughter.

Gorgeous hand made initials from my lovely friends from Hoop. The staff at the hospital thought these were the best thing ever because they knew who was who every time.

This poem was sent by James's primary school teacher and made us all cry.

Cards, and more cards. And nappies!

The triplet survival kit from a neighbor which contained treats for Jack, wine for us, an emergency tea (a large bag of crisps) and the last resort, when all else fails, dummies!

Meals for the freezer from James's school friend.

Hand knitted hats from James's gran.

Hand knitted blankets from a friends customer, someone we have never met!

Some hilarious baby grows from our friend Xanthe.

These super cute little bags were given to us by James uncle and aunt.

These gorgeous little bunnies were made by our lovely friends Eliza.

As well as all of these, we have been given flowers, the hire of the breat pump from Lynda, wine, money gifts for the babies piggy banks, money gifts for us to buy nappies, formula and other bits we need, food from a few people, including Emma and Annabel while I was pregnant, eggs, milk and cheese from our farmer neighbours, cake from another neighbour, clothes, bibs, creams, toys for the babies, toys for Jack.

We have also had lots of people take Jack for play dates and just out for activities. We have also had lots of visitors who come at feeding times which allows them to help feed the babies, get lots of cuddles, and allow us to get jobs done or play with Jack. We also get messages most days from people who are going to the supermarket and ask if we need anything.

Before the babies arrived, we had been given loads of baby stuff too. Cots, mattresses, bedding, car seats, bouncers, clothes, pump equipment. Basically, everything!

We will of course look forward to being able to pass these things on and help out other expecting parents. I'm excited to meet a triplet mum to be who is due to visit soon and collect all our premature baby clothes when they have outgrown them. It's lovely to be able to pass on the generosity to the next people, especially as it has meant so much to us.

Honestly, the generosity, kindness and thoughtfulness has been so overwhelming!

So, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much!
